Upcell Alliance’s team is growing: Introducing Nina, new Secretary General
Upcell Alliance is growing its team with the appointment of Nina as our new Secretary General. Nina obtained her degree in Chemistry from the University of Seville in 2008, and in 2014, she successfully completed her doctoral studies in Material Science at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
Her expertise lies in applied electrochemistry for energy storage processes such as batteries, green hydrogen, or CO2 conversion to produce new generation of e- fuels. Having participated in many European, National, and industrial projects as a researcher, Nina is set to bring valuable expertise to our organization.
Nina’s journey with Upcell Alliance began in January 2024. Her primary focus is to bolster strategic alliances in the Battery field across Europe and ensure the successful realization of the organization’s objectives. With her experience and dedication, Nina aims to take Upcell Alliance to new heights.
In her new role, she will gradually assume the responsibilities previously held by Ingrid Leiser, showcasing her expertise and unwavering commitment to the organization. We are excited to witness Nina’s seamless transition into this pivotal role, as she paves the way for our continued growth and success. Ingrid will play a key role in supporting Nina during this transition phase while continuing to make contributions to our organization’s endeavors as a Senior Counsellor.
Nina joins our esteemed team, which includes Camille Kocer, our dedicated Executive Assistant, and Claudia Lung, our International Projects Leader since November 2023. Claudia is committed to driving international project opportunities with our members and partners, fostering innovation, and propelling Upcell Alliance to even greater success.
As we welcome Nina to our team, we are confident that her vision, expertise, and leadership will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Upcell Alliance.
