Julia leads international business development for Upcell Alliance, working to expand the global membership, collaborating with companies across the batteries value chain to move joint projects forward, and developing and implementing Upcell’s business plans and strategies.
Julia previously worked as a Senior Consultant at OCO Global, an international trade and investment advisory firm, where she supported governments, international institutions, and the private sector to deliver market research and data analytics, strategies and solutions to stay competitive and successful in international investment. She focused particularly on projects in the clean energy sector.
Julia holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations with First Class Honours from King’s College London. She speaks English and Danish fluently and has a high level of proficiency in Polish and French. Though born in Denmark, Julia has lived in the United States, the United Kingdom, and is now based in France.
